From the Gospel of Matthew
One ordinary afternoon, a man was walking across a wide green field. Just a normal day.
He knelt down, brushed away the soil… and there was the corner of an old wooden chest.
Gold coins tumbled out. Glittering jewels blazed with light. He couldn't believe his eyes!
He buried it again quickly, then ran home leaping, arms wide open with pure joy!
He sold everything he owned — every last thing — and bought that field. The treasure was worth it all.
“In his joy he went and sold all he had and bought that field.”
