From the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 5
A new patch on an old garment only makes the tear worse. The new cloth pulls, and the rip grows.
New wine in an old wineskin makes it crack and burst. Everything spills out. Something new needs room to grow.
The keeper stepped into the morning light, carrying a fresh, empty wineskin — ready to begin again.
But new wine in a new wineskin — it fits! It stretches and holds. Something new needs space to grow.
“New wine must be poured into new wineskins.”
You finished The New Cloth and New Wineskins. Your garden has one more flower in it.
