A Parable Garden Story
The Persistent
Widow
Luke 18 : 1 – 8
Scroll to begin
There was a judge who did not fear God and did not care what anyone thought.
In that same city was a widow who had been treated unfairly. She needed the judge's help.
Please! Grant me justice! — But the judge turned away and said no.
She came back again and again — every single day — and would not stop asking.
Finally the judge said: I will help her — so she stops bothering me! And he gave her justice.
If even an unjust judge helped her — how much more will God help those who keep asking him?
When you really
want something,
what do you do?
“Will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night?”
Luke, Chapter 18, Verse 7
