From the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 20
At first light, the vineyard owner went to the marketplace and hired workers — shaking hands as dawn broke.
At noon, the owner came back and found workers still standing idle. "Come!" he said. And they went.
Near sunset, the owner found workers who had waited all day. "There's still room for you," he said.
In the vineyard, hands worked side by side. Baskets filled — some workers since dawn, others only minutes — all picking together.
Evening came. The owner paid every worker — the same coin, whether they came first or last.
Some grumbled. But the owner smiled gently: "I'm just being kind." Kindness isn't unfair — it's a gift.
“Are you envious because I am generous?”
You finished The Workers in the Vineyard. Your garden has one more flower in it.
